The World’s Famous Buddha Painting Master, Earth Zen Person, International Meditation Teacher, Founder of Enlightening Earth Association, Daksina Mani Buddha Cultural & Bodhisattva Association in Taiwan, Professor Master Chi Sung Hung appointed as the Chair Professor at Chung Hua University, Taipei, Taiwan on November 20, 2021.
The president of Chung Hua University, Sir Victor W. Liu, offered a chair professor to Master Hung. Master Hung is giving advice to the students at the graduate school class at Chung Hua University about writing their thesis. Master Hung performed a Floral Tea Banquet at the at Chung Hua University. Master Hung offered his calligraphy to the president of Chung Hua University, Sir Victor W. Liu at the Floral Tea Banquet. The calligraphy says, “The model of Taiwan, the Chung Hua of the world”. Master Hung started a graduate school class at Chung Hua University.
Madam Lynn Gong, the Teacher of Zen Meditation and President of Enlightening Earth Association, Buddha Cultural & Bodhisattva Association & devotes also participated this auspices event. Many benefits of Zen meditation are that it provides insight into how the mind works. Chung Hua University (CHU; Chinese: 中華大學) is a private university located in Xiangshan District, Hsinchu City, Taiwan. It was formerly known as Chung Hua Polytechnic Institute founded in 1990 by three local Hsinchu entrepreneurs, Ron-Chang Wang, Zau-Juang Tsai and Lin Junq-tzer. It was upgraded to university status and renamed as “Chung Hua University” in 1997. There are six colleges with 25 departments offering undergraduate courses as well as 16 master programs and 3 PH.D. programs.
Chung Hua University (CHU) was founded in March 1990. It is located in Hsinchu City, Taiwan, near the Hsinchu Science Park, the Silicon Valley of Taiwan, which is one of the world’s most strategic centers for semiconductor manufacturing and computer technology development. More than 400 high-tech companies, mainly involved in the semiconductor, computer, telecommunication, and optoelectronics industries are established in the park. Furthermore, The World Famous Buddha Painting Master, Earth Zen Person, International Meditation Teacher, Founder of Enlightening Earth Association, Buddha Cultural & Bodhisattva Association in Taiwan, Master Chi Sung Hung was completed “The Largest Buddha Painting Guinness World Record” at Hualien, Taipei, Taiwan on June 21, 2019. The largest painting measures 12,086.59 m² (130,099 ft²). Master Chi Sung Hung vowed to accomplish a huge painting by himself to keep the Buddha’s spirit of peace forever in this world, to pray for the reconciliation of thousands of years of conflicts, and to wish for happiness and peace on Earth. The World’s largest painting, the World’s largest hand-painted Buddha portrait & the World’s largest Buddha portrait painted by a single person will scheduled to release on May 09 – 13, 2018 at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Centre, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
The Buddha painting big is 12,000 square meters & it’s the size of 28 basketball fields with 166 meters height. It’s about 50 stories high. This is the Exceeding Guinness World Records. This symbolized Great Buddha, Happiness & World Peace. The World’s largest Buddha portrait painted by a single person who Most Venerable Master Chi-Sung Hung. This special painting shows for general public & organized by “The Great Buddha 2018 Earth Spirit Cultural Festival” of Peace Earth Committee. In 2001, the Great Buddha statue of Bamiyan was destroyed. Seeing the confrontation of this rapid changing world, Master Chi-Sung Hung decided to take a different route to reach reconciliation. He vowed to accomplish a huge painting of the Buddha by himself to keep the spirit of peace of Buddha forever in this world and to pray for the reconciliation of thousand years of conflicts. This nearly impossible mission leads to the largest Buddhist paintings in the history. It’s an unprecedented task from the testing and selections of canvas and paint to the hard work of canvas positioning and painting. You will be immersed in the calming and blissed scene when you witness the unveiling of the Great Buddha and receiving its powerful positive energy. The Earth Zen Person Chi-Sung Hung is an internationally well-known Zen Master. Earth Zen means the enlightenment of all living beings on the earth. Therefore, an Earth Zen Person is a person who is devoted to promoting the enlightenment of all living beings. Master Hung was invited to Taiwan, America, China, and Europe to lead retreats and give lectures in both Chinese and English, including Harvard University, MIT, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Beijing University, and Fudan University in China, and Taiwan University, and so on.
The canvas weighs several hundred kg. It is separated into 15 rolls. Each roll of canvas is stored in a specially made wooden cabinets that weighs 1000 kg. The canvas is rolled out slowly for painting. A projector is used for positioning. After an area is painted, it takes four people move canvas together to dry the painted area and to pull the canvas further out.
